I spend most of my time thinking about how organisations connect with their people, and how employer brands can drive real business value. I've worked in the early talent space since day one of my career, and although I've seen it change a lot, it's still the best place to innovate. That's partly why I love it so much.

About me

I co-founded Tonic in 2012, with a focus on building employer brands that are clear, credible and commercially effective. Since then, I’ve worked with organisations around the world, from global corporates to fast-growth businesses,  helping them define what they stand for and how that shows up across the employee experience. That includes EVP strategy, early talent, internal engagement and brand activation, always with a focus on the link between people, performance and perception.

Early talent has been a consistent thread throughout my career. I served as a Director of the Institute of Student Employers (2017–2021), working closely with employers and educators to shape thinking around student recruitment and development. That perspective continues to inform how I approach early careers today, as a system shaped by perception, experience and context, not just a hiring process.

A lot of my work now is about helping clients shift their thinking from activity to impact, and from doing employer branding to managing it.

Outside of work, I play golf, spend time with my family, and try to keep up a regular routine at the gym or in the pool. I’m also usually daydreaming about our next family holiday, or working out where to find a good meal and a decent glass of wine.
